Simon’s practices focuses on construction contract drafting and negotiation, commercial litigation, and alternative dispute resolution. Simon’s sharp writing and negotiation skills allow Simon to provide maximum value to his clients during all phases of a construction project.
Simon primarily represents owners and developers, although he has also represented a wide variety of clients in commercial litigation matters. Simon has comprehensive experience assisting clients in protecting or gaining access to neighboring properties during construction, both through proactive negotiation and through RPAPL 881 petitions. When working with license agreements, Simon’s experience and diligent approach to assisting his clients allows him to effectively work with all parties towards the client’s most efficient desired result.
Simon graduated cum laude from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where he served as the President of the Student Trial Advocacy Board. Simon was also awarded the Order of Barristers, having exhibited excellence and attained high honor through the art of courtroom advocacy. Simon received his Honors Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto. Simon is admitted to the bar of the State of New York, as well as the United States District Courts for both the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
